DπDmaths

About DπDmaths

DπDmaths was founded by mathematicians who had recently sat these admissions tests themselves. We wanted to help students bridge the gap between knowing the maths and knowing how to approach the problems the papers put in front of you.

The DπD Approach

For us, being good at maths is about knowing how to approach a problem, especially when the answer isn’t obvious. Our sessions start with the areas you find difficult. We work through where you got stuck, build new techniques from there, and then apply them to harder and less familiar questions. The aim is to help you recognise familiar problems quickly while becoming more comfortable working through unfamiliar ones. We want you to know what to try, when to change approach and how to use your time well. We’ve also created our own DπD mock papers and resources, with challenging questions designed to test familiar ideas in unfamiliar ways. If you think this approach could help, you can book a free 1-hour consultation.
